IT'S ALL IN THE FAMILY

For Bruce Boardman, it’s all about family. He was born in the hot bed of hot rodding, Southern
California. Bruce was brought up in the shadow of Irwindale, Pomona and Ontario Raceways
where his father would often take him to the races. His father owned a service station-garage,
and was into racing so it was only natural that Bruce got the passion for hot rods and racing.
His Dad is gone now, but, his Father’s memory lives on, and looms fondly in Bruce’s memory.
Today, Bruce is a single parent that has children of his own, and like his father before him, his passion for hot
rods and racing has been passed on to his children and his friends. When Bruce was still married, he couldn’t
do all that he wanted, he had to be more practical. He couldn’t justify owning both a hot rod and a daily driver,
so his hot rod and daily driver became one-in-the-same, his 55 Chevy
