I owned Two Vincents , A Black Shadow with a Black Lightning conversion, and a Vincent Grey Flash 500cc.I am 70 years old, and this picture sure brought back memories (both pleasant and unpleasant) of these superb machines, with their advanced use of alloys, revolutionary suspension(Copied by all nowadays)and(sometimes) frightful handling,I have experienced -and survived- many "tank slappers at over 100mph!! -in spite of immaculate maintenance-However, this was the only real problem that I had with both the 1000 and 500.

Has to be one of the Coolest most "mechanical" looking bikes ever produced....I have the picture of Rollie Free, doing 155 and change in a pair of speedos and a helmet, flat out prone on the salt, hanging on my shop wall. Great picture. Thanks for sharing
